
Mahindra is set to officially launch its all-new electric SUV, the XEV 9e, on November 26, 2024, during an event where it will be showcased alongside the BE 6E. The XEV 9e is expected to redefine the budget electric SUV segment with its high-tech features, including a triple-screen dashboard and a modern design inspired by the BE6 concept, which Mahindra introduced in South Africa last year.

Key Features of the Mahindra XEV 9e :
• Design & Cabin: The cabin is spacious, with triple digital displays integrated across the dashboard, a multi-zone climate control system, and Mahindra’s new illuminated infinity logo on the steering wheel. A massive glass roof spans the cabin length, enhancing the spacious feel and natural light inside.
• Platform: Built on Mahindra’s INGLO platform, the XEV 9e features design cues and technology innovations to appeal to tech-savvy buyers.
• Performance & Range: It is expected to come with options for rear-wheel and all-wheel drive, as well as two battery capacities, 60 kWh and 80 kWh, which could deliver a range of up to 500 km on a full charge.
• Charging: The XEV 9e offers fast-charging capabilities with a 175 kW charger that can charge the battery up to 80% in roughly 30 minutes.
• Market Positioning: Mahindra has positioned the XEV 9e to compete with models like the Tata Harrier EV, aiming to capture interest with an anticipated price range starting at INR 38 lakh.
