The highly anticipated historical drama Chhava, starring Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has shifted its release date from December 2024 to February 14, 2025. The decision strategically avoids a box office clash with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule, slated for a nationwide release in December.
The new release date coincides with the Jayanti of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on February 19, 2025, adding historical and cultural significance to the film’s debut. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Chhava also features Akshaye Khanna as Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles.
