Tata Motors has officially launched the latest updates for its popular models, the Harrier and Safari, which now include Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This upgrade aligns with industry standards and enhances safety for users, making advanced features more accessible.
Key Features of the Level 2 ADAS Update
The new Level 2 ADAS capabilities will be available for the Adventure + A, Fearless +, and Accomplished + variants of the refreshed Harrier and Safari. Existing owners can enjoy this upgrade at no extra cost by visiting their nearest dealership.
The upgrade introduces several new functionalities, including:
- Lane Keep Assist: This feature helps maintain lane positioning by adjusting the steering based on lane markings, ensuring safer highway driving.
- Adaptive Steering Assist: Works alongside adaptive cruise control to keep the vehicle centered in its lane during cruising.
For these features to activate, vehicles must be traveling at speeds above 60 km/h and be on well-marked roads, emphasizing their design for highway use.
Color Options Reshuffle
In addition to the technological enhancements, Tata has revamped the color options for both the Harrier and Safari. Selected color options previously exclusive to higher trims are now available on lower variants, providing more choices for customers.
Harrier Color Changes:
- Pebble Grey and Coral Red are now offered on Smart and Pure variants.
- Ash Grey is now available on Adventure and Fearless trims.
- Seaweed Green, previously exclusive to the Adventure trim, is now offered with the Fearless trim.
Safari Color Changes:
- Stardust Ash and Galactic Sapphire have been added to Smart and Pure trims.
- Lunar Slate is now available on Adventure and Accomplished trims.
- Supernova Copper is also offered in the Accomplished variant, alongside the Adventure trim.
